Ep 34: Julian Victor - Urban Wildlife Filmmaker
Show Notes

Julian Victor is a talented filmmaker who is particularly fond of wildlife that thrives in bustling urban environments. He’s passionate about sharing wildlife conservation stories to raise awareness of our natural world, its inhabitants and how to preserve them. From bald eagles against a CN Tower (Toronto, Canada) backdrop, to wild elephants in Botswana, his creative energy and enthusiasm for wildlife is infectious.

He’s taken chances, chased his dreams and it’s paid off. Julian has worked on projects for National Geographic as well as produced and presented segments on wildlife conservation for Canada’s top morning show, Breakfast Television.

On this episode, host Angela de Burger chats with Julian about what inspired him to focus on sharing stories about urban wildlife, his creative process when filming, what it’s been like to work with the people and organizations that sparked his love for nature as a child, and why he believes that the local actions people take can have a global impact on animals.
